Aaron the Allergic Shepherd!

Do you believe it is time again for the Advent/Christmas holiday season? Ready or not, here it comes! This year's pageant will be Aaron, the Allergic Shepherd and together we will learn the all encompassing love of God through Christ as we travel through the Christmas story with Aaron and his friends as he struggles with the difficulties of his profession, life and just never quite measuring up.

The only thing worse than a shepherd who's allergic to sheep would be a sheep who's allergic to wool! Long before there were tissues, a shepherd boy had quite a time with respiratory issues. This shepherd boy learned a lesson that is really very simple…God loves us all and offers us an amazing grace! Join us in spreading the good news of God's love through the birth of Jesus Christ this holiday season.

This year's pageant has parts for youth of all ages and talents. Please encourage your child or children to join  us for the children's choir each Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. and practices that will soon be gearing up to get us ready to celebrate this holiday season.

There are other aspects to helping with the play besides singing and acting. Consider volunteering your efforts to help with the set construction, costuming, or organizing the tasting party held afterwards. There are many wonderful ways to share in the fellowship and message of the season. And, as always, remember the youth and their efforts to share God's love in your prayers.

Blessings,
Tracy
