Helping Our Children Heal from Violence

Light a Candle     Our theme for the 2016 Light a Candle for Children Prayer Vigil and National Observance of Children’s Sabbath is “Helping Our Children Heal from Violence.” Our children are not immune to the violence in our neighborhoods, cities, and shown in our media. But how do we reach out? How do we help them heal?
Join us in daily prayer and reflection September 11 – October 16, 2016 and consider observing Children’s Sabbath in your congregation on Sunday, October 16th.
Each day we will post a scripture and reflection, in addition to resources and tools for tackling these complex issues.
