The Lenten season was exhilarating and exhausting.

Here is some of what we did:

   Formed worship teams for every Lenten and Easter event.

   Worshipped on Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday,

      Good Friday, Easter Sunrise and Easter morning.

   Worshipped every day during Holy Week at St. Peter's.

   Opened the church 11-1 Monday through Friday

      the last three weeks of Lent for personal prayer time.

   Set up the stations of the cross for guided meditation.

   Created a Lenten worship bag.

   Members wrote and we compiled a Journey to the Cross

      Lenten Devotional.

   Met our prayer group once a week.

   The choir practiced two very special anthems

      for Easter morning.

   Had an Easter Celebration (egg hunt) and meal

      which attracted about 100 people.

   Conducted several fundraisers in support of

      two youth mission trips.

   Created a Lenten banner on which were displayed

      panels that contained the themes for five Sundays

      of Lent. The panels transformed into a cross on Easter.

      Thanks to Sue McCracken for creating the banner.

   In addition there was Sunday School every Sunday, with

      special studies, Wednesday Bible Study, youth skits

      and more.

Thank you Tracy, Dianne, Dwana, Liz, the Worship Committee,

   the Worship Teams and all of you who participated in one or

   more of the special events we held during Lent.

Now we move on to support the Walk for the Well.
