Jeff's Journal

There is so much to say.

   It is Holy Week and the Journal demands words.

   But there is so much to say, I am not sure where to begin.

The sun streams through my window.

   The day is warm.

   The dogwood tree is in bloom in the church yard.

We move toward the cross and its ultimate meaning for us.

  

I don't feel profound and full of words today.

  So, I will share with you words Jesus said

      as he moved closer to his destiny.

 

"I give you a new commandment,

   that you should love one another.

   Just as I have loved you,

      you also should love one another.

By this everyone will know

   that you are my disciples,

   if you have love for one another."

 

Alleluia! Amen!

 

Moving to the deeper places,
