The Jesus League Needs YOU!
July 10- 14, 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Calling all superheroes! Calling all superheroes! Captain Andrea and Super Myra need your super VBS powers! Report to the Fellowship Hall of Justice each night of Vacation Bible School to combine your super powers with those of others to bring about Justice and Compassion in the world during our week of Vacation Bible School capers! All powers, great and small, are needed!!
Invite your friends, family and neighbors for a week of celebrating Heroes of the Bible and learning how to conquer evil in the world by becoming a part of the Jesus League!
Each night we will gather for fun and fellowship while learning about great superheroes of the Bible. We’ll sing songs of praise and play exciting games to help strengthen our super powers! We will work together on our superhero costumes and make all the handy gadgets every superhero needs to conquer villains with super craft leaders. We’ll also take part in super-building projects to help spread God’s love in our community!
Join the Jesus League and work on your super-powers as we learn about Great Biblical Superheroes! We’ll have Courage like David, Strength like Samson, Selflessness like Esther, the Faith of Noah and we’ll learn how to take ACTION with all these new superpowers when we consider the Christmas Story and how all these people followed a star and God’s messengers to see the newborn King of Kings.
Here is where your superpowers are still needed to make our Jesus League complete:
–Constructing the Fellowship Hall of Justice and our Sanctuary Secret Lair the week of July 7th-9th
–Super-Leaders for Preschool, K-2nd, and 3rd – 5th grade
–Super-Singers for Music and Worship
–Superhero Actors and Actresses for Story Time
–Nursery Leaders for our Super VBS Volunteers’ children (birth-2 yrs)
We also need superhero helpers to Un-fortify the Fellowship Hall of Justice and the Sanctuary Secret Lair on July 14th 8 p.m. until the work is done, putting away all our Jesus League paraphernalia.
