R U Seeking Him?

Each year Bourbon County Youth Ministers gather together middle and high school youth from churches all across the county for 4 weekly revivals where the youth hear popular Christian Rock music, hear testimonies from their peers about how God is revealed in their lives and hear a message of faith from a different youth minister each week. These revivals are designed to excite our youth about their faith and empower them to share their message of strength and hope in Christ to their peers.

A side benefit is the message they also receive when they come together. They learn through being with all these churches and worshiping in so many different places, in so many different ways that the body of Christ is not only made up of every member of their own congregation, or all the churches within their denomination, but of ALL churches working together to spread the Good News and create God's Kingdom on earth.

At the end of these 4 weeks of Revivals we celebrate with a huge event called R.U.S.H. where each youth is encouraged to go out and share what they have learned about God through Jesus Christ with others. They answer the question of R U Seeking HIM? with a resounding YES!

They gather in masses for a message from someone who shares the faith in a unique way in which kids can identify. This year our speaker is Tim Bertram, who is also an artist and paints as he shares so the youth will have the chance to experience the message both orally and visually. (To learn more about Tim Bertram's ministry, visit his website at http://godsgraffiti.org/.)

They also gather to celebrate the faith by listening to a professional musical group, this year our guests will be Agape Slave.

BUT the most exciting part about all of this is that WE GET TO HOST THIS YEAR'S EVENT!

February 25th, 26th and 27th the youth of Bourbon County churches will descend upon our hospitality. We have the opportunity to open the doors of our newly renovated space to youth who are opening their hearts to accept Jesus Christ into their lives.

The question I now ask you… R U Seeking HIM?

Blessings,
Tracy
