Imagine the People!

Can you imagine how many people are touched by any church?

We are inviting anyone with any connection to First Christian

   back to our 185th anniversary celebration on October 14.

   In brainstorming names I came up with about a 100 names

   without breaking a sweat.

There are children of members. Former youth group kids,

   pastors who served here, current guests who attend,

   siblings, neighbors, friends, colleagues, service providers,

   inactive members, parents who are not members but their

   children are active, employees, grandchildren of members,

   family of employees, folks we have married here, families

   we have ministered to with funerals, people we have helped,

   those who attended Vacation Bible School, spouses of members,

   strangers we encounter in the community, adults who were raised

   in the church, friends of the church and more.

We handed out cards on which we asked you to give us a name and

   address of someone you would like to invite to a celebration of

   185 years of ministry in Paris.

We will have plenty of activities for the kids, games, inflatables,

   carriage rides, face painting, hot dogs and the whole day will

   be casual dress.

We want and need those names and addresses. Help us by getting them to

   us by this Sunday if possible.

We plan to have a great time, full of fun and worship!

Make plans now to attend.
