Hanna Class

The Hanna Class is a gathering of mature adults, ranging in age from 40’s to 90’s, who continue to learn and grow in the faith. We meet in room 203, where folks are greeted with smiles and hugs and freshly brewed coffee. We do a scripture-based study and are currently studying “The Present Word” series, which frequently leads us into lively discussions.

The class sponsors the Alternative Christmas Giving Program which encourages church members to donate to a community service (usually faith based) organization in honor of a family member/friend as an alternative to a traditional Christmas gift. This has become a strong tradition in the church as a means to truly recognize and honor the birthday of Jesus.

The class is lead by Marie Smart who has a distinguished career in serving a senior adult population. The class is named for Dr. Henry Hanna, pastor of the church for eleven years, who, along with his wife Joann, are members of the class.

We invite you to join us each Sunday at 9:30 am on the 2nd floor.
