…The deacons will meet Saturday at 11 a.m. There will be a speaker, lunch and a brief presentation by Jeff about the origin of deacons in the Bible. The meeting will end at 1:00 p.m.

…The Walk for the Well raised over $6,000 for the Bourbon County Ministerial Association’s assistance with rent and utilities.

…Haley Smart will participate in the Governor’s Scholars Program this summer.

…Greg Smart is Scoutmaster of Troop 67.

…Cameron Smart has achieved his Star rank in scouting.

…Nelson Faulkner is in room 246 at Bourbon Heights.

…The Christian Youth Fellowship has a strong desire to go help the victims of the tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. They may begin planning soon to travel there next summer.

…It has been great to see Pauline Hutson back in church recently with the assistance of her family.

…Marie Livingood has taken on a huge project of moving the beautiful flowers along the Millersburg Road out of harms way as they build the new road.

…Allison Smith, mother of Andrew, is now assisting in the nursery on Sunday mornings. Allison is also Sally Puckett’s daughter, and Paula Marcum’s niece.

…Linda Ramage recently retired from teaching in the Bourbon County School System.

…Congratulations to John Mark Yeiser and Carrie Fay on their marriage May 18^th, in Union, Kentucky. They will reside in Louisville. John Mark is the son of David and Liz Yeiser.
