Bethlehem Bound

Join us on Sunday, December 21^st 2-7 p.m. for a day of fun and pageantry! This year’s Christmas play will be a family affair. We’re going to try something new: a one-day workshop that gets the whole family involved in the celebration of Christmas. Our goal is to allow everyone to celebrate the real star of the holiday season, Jesus! If we can minimize the amount of stress and commitment demands on our families and children in the process of celebrating Jesus’ birth, then that’s even better! We’ll gather together to cast the play, “Bethlehem Bound” and work in small groups to learn the songs and craft our props. Then, after everyone has had an opportunity to rehearse, we’ll all gather in the sanctuary to see each other’s performances. Afterwards, we’ll conclude the festivities with a pot-luck dinner where Santa Clause will visit to share a story and gift with all the children, finishing up in plenty of time for a restful evening at home with the family. This is our Christmas gift to you: TIME…something we can all use!
