Holy dependence
When you suffer and need relief there are vast numbers of people there to help.
I wonder if that is what God intended when suffering was allowed to exist.
When we suffer people ask, “Are you o.k.?” We visit the doctor. Tests are run. Medicine is prescribed. Diet is considered. Procedures are scheduled.
Insurance swings into action.
Depending on the level of suffering experienced perhaps thousands of people become directly or indirectly involved in your cure and care.
Friends respond, cards are sent, some visit.
No one wants to suffer, but perhaps God intended for this to bring us into relationships of Holy dependence with each other and Him.
Those relationships force us to consider compassion, to be trained to respond and to connect with others.
Eliminating the suffering and problems of another, may be the primary reason we are created to be here with each other.
Moving to the deeper places,
Jeff
