It’s time to be on our way to Bethlehem!
Marty and Ramona are on their way to the Bethlehem Star Search with the aid of modern global positioning systems…’One Star.’ Ramona is sure she's going to win and become a huge STAR! They meet a lot of interesting characters along the way and in the process learn the true meaning of Christmas and who really is the star of the show.
Join us on Sunday, December 21st at 3 p.m. for a great day of fun for the whole family (Assistant Directors arrive at 2). Meet in Fellowship Hall for your Scene Assignment, then spend an hour with family and friends helping your children learn their song and make their stage prop (music and prop kits are provided). After each scene-group gets their part of the play together, we’ll all meet in the sanctuary to piece each scene together…then at 5 p.m. we perform for all our guests “Bethlehem Bound!”
After our fantastic dramatic event, we will gather in Fellowship Hall for a pot-luck dinner and a visit from Santa Claus, where he will tell us a beautiful story, hear what some of you might want for Christmas and give each of our young guests a gift. This will be a great opportunity for you to take a few family photos and gather with the ones you love to share your most precious resource with your family…TIME.
Merry Christmas from Your Church Family!
Ways that you can help make this year's pageant a success…
- Come and be willing to help your children make a craft and learn a song.
- Bring a dish to share at the Fellowship Meal.
- Come and watch our children perform a wonderful Christmas story.
- Share a warm smile, a hug, the joy of the holiday season and celebrate the birth of our savior with your church family.
Blessings,
Tracy
