Jeff's Journal
There we were three years ago
receiving pledges which would permit
repair and renovation for handicapped
accessibility for our beautiful facility.
The fellowship hall, restrooms and
second floor had aged and was beginning
to show deterioration and decay.
You responded with pledges to support this
great work of the church.
Now, it is time to finish those pledges.
Some need to be "caught up" and
others completed.
We have not pushed and over publicized
the need to keep up our capital pledges
and some are behind.
To push the payment of the debt we owe,
I am asking you, if you are able, to
bring your pledge up to date, and even
give more if that is possible.
If you cannot finish your pledge by, say
July, please contact Charlotte and let
her know. Charlotte will not judge you.
She and the church just need to know
whether your pledge will be completed soon
or will not be completed soon.
Recently, George Kissick prepared a power point
presentation for the Bourbon Heights residents.
About 10 residents gathered in the activity room
there and we walked them through a before and
after of the renovation. They were all very excited
and appreciative of the work that had been done
to the facility. They were proud of their church.
Our work is not through, however,
until it is all paid for. We need your help to make
that happen.
We look forward to hearing from you.
As always, thank you for your incredible generosity.
Moving to the deeper places,
Jeff
