…that our Alternative Giving managed by the Hanna Class had a record amount given to support several different ministries at Christmastime?
…that our youth group is growing with several possibilities for new Christians to be formed in our midst.
…that we met our 2013 budget giving at the end of November?
…that we will dedicate several original paintings given to the church on Sunday, February 2 during worship?
…we will burn the bank note officially retiring our debt for the renovation project on Sunday, January 26, during worship?
…we have over 15 young children who are potential members of our preschool and elementary Sunday School class?
…we are moving closer to setting a date for a summer mission experience for adults and youth?
…the Martin Luther King, Jr. March and worship will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Monday, January 20th, at 3:00 p.m. A meal will follow the service at Annunciation Catholic Church.
…a window recently blew open in the tallest tower. Thanks to quick work by Jerry Price and David Gambill, disaster was averted. The window could have fallen out and seriously damaged our roof or fallen on someone walking by.
…the staff retreat went very well. Thanks to the Hannas for providing lunch on Monday and for Katie Haag for bringing us lunch on Tuesday.
