Men’s Courageous Study

    On May 19th, eleven men heard the challenge, and had the courage to start a journey together, to walk courageously and rise to become the men that our Lord wanted them to become.  We meet every Sunday night 6:30 PM till 8:00 PM.  We follow a study guide that is part of the "Honor Begins at Home Bible Study", however we are not afraid to diverge and bring in our own thoughts and ideas. We recently completed session three in an eight session study guide.  We have discussed responsibility, acceptance, forgiveness, and faith.

As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

We are taking responsibility for our decisions, accepting that we will be judged by the Lord, our good actions will not save us from our wrong actions, we must seek forgiveness.

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

We can not change our future until we redeemed our past.  We must seek forgiveness from those we have wronged, and forgive those who have wronged us.

These are the things we have discussed, struggled with and have shared with each other.  We have two young men, who are neither fathers nor husbands, who are part of our group, wishing to learn and start their lives off correctly. My personal respect for these two men has grown considerably as they have accepted a challenge few their age would take. Men with no children or wives, men with young children, and men with grown children, we have all found we have things to share.
