Pre-Easter Egg Hunt

This year's annual Easter Egg Hunt will occur as part of our Wonderful Wednesdays!

     On Wednesday April 20th at 5:45 p.m. we will begin our celebration with a Hot Dog dinner for everyone. Afterwards, we will have egg-dying stations, farm animals to pet and get pictures taken with and our Egg Hunt. We will finish off the festivities of the day with a story provided by Mary Lovell. Come out and bring the family for this spectacular event to celebrate the Good News with our community.

     In celebrating early and advertizing to the community, we have the unique opportunity to share in the resurrection–you would be surprised how many people think of this holiday in terms of bunnies, colored eggs and candy. We open our event with a secular celebration and end with the sacred story–this is our chance to share with all who visit the Good News of Jesus' triumph over the grave and the saving grace that is brought to humanity through God's encounter with the world.

     As this event is open to the community, we need the help of each member and will rely on donations to make this possible. You can help with your presence as a helper to prepare for the event as well as in many other ways. We are in need of donations of the following…

• pre-wrapped candies
• inexpensive baskets to distribute to our visitors who may not have a basket
• BOILED eggs
• 2 liters of pepsi/coke, diet pepsi/diet coke, sprite/7-up
• paper products to serve the meal
• or–if you're just not sure how to help….money works too

     You can leave your donations at the church office anytime between now and April 16th. We will plan a work day to stuff plastic eggs after worship on Sunday April 17th.
