What is a story?

Well, you know don’t you?

A story is a prevarication of palaver, parsing pronouns, preparing punch lines and peeling parables to pursue public perception of palatable presumption and parody.

Naw. I don’t know what that means either. Just took a stroll through my thesaurus and it sounded good.

A story finds you where you are, but you didn’t know you were there.

A story entices you to travel to a destination for which you had no reservation.

A story welcomes you in, then, with the potency of words, takes you from here to there, from now to then, from the obvious to the possible.
