A Significant Gift

A few weeks ago, I challenged everyone who had experienced the fun and excitement of March Madness (NCAA basketball) to give a little extra offering as a way of expressing thankfulness for a sport which many in Kentucky follow with passion.

Now, it is time to follow Jesus into his passion. That passion is a love for us which is so powerful that he would give his life to free us from all of our baggage, hangups, mistakes and fear. Now there is a reason for an over and above offering.

So, I challenge you during Holy Week, to bring an extra offering for the church which reflects the depth of your gratitude and the breadth of your hope for what he did for you.
