Holy Week begins…
Holy Week 
begins April 13th, with Palm Sunday.
We prepare to walk through the events of the last week of Jesus’ life.
We act as if we were there. (Remember the hymn “Were You There?”)
Through prayers and devotion we meditate upon the journey of Jesus and witness his acts of humble submission to the will of God.
We contemplate the darkness that we may fully see and embrace the light.
We protest the injustice, we weep at the cross, we resolve to be more faithful disciples.
We journey together to realize we do not walk alone up to the desecration of a holy and good man.
We gather at the table to remember and imagine our place in his kingdom.
