You should take great comfort.

   You have elected a wonderful group of leaders.

   At the Board meeting last night, the room was full.

   Committee chairs came to give their reports,

   many of the submitted written reports

   of activities and plans underway.

Each group was encouraged to submit a bold

   wish list. I told a story of a church which

   was not prepared for a bold request and

   lost a great opportunity.

Soon, we will have a list of everything we currently

   need to keep the church in great shape and do

   the ministry we have been called to do.

We heard about the Dave Ramsey course we are

   offering under the leadership of Bob Parker.

We learned about plans for a luau in October

   for the whole congregation.

We continue to hear of the hard work of

   Jerry Price and the Property Committee.

   There is so much to do!

Paula Marcum led the meeting

   with efficiency and grace.

This is a great church

   full of leaders who care about this

   outpost in the kingdom of God.

Praise God!
