Planning

We are doing something new and  exciting here early in January.
Tracy, Dianne and I have had two staff retreats, held upstairs, January 2, and then January 14.
In between, we presented a fairly comprehensive calendar for the church leaders to review.
In its final form, the calendar will be included in the church handbook.  It will allow advanced planning by committees, the board and others.
We hope that the church will begin planning, perhaps six months and in some cases, a year in advance.
This will allow us to have more opportunity to involve members and those with talent and skills from outside the congregation, when the occasion would be enhanced by their inclusion.
Distributing this calendar will allow people to include the church in their plans by marking their calendars.
We look forward to including more members and guests in the planning and implementation of worship and other church activities.

We are pretty excited about the possibilities.
